Terms of Service

1. The service

AI Budget Pro ("the Service") is a personal budgeting application that lets you record and analyze your own financial activity, including AI-assisted features such as voice entry, receipt scanning and coaching. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Trials, subscriptions and billing

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with usage limits. Paid subscriptions (monthly or yearly) are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Not financial advice

The Service, including its AI coach and reports, provides general informational insights about your own recorded data. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

5. AI features

AI outputs can be imperfect. Always review AI-created expenses and insights. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records.

6. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to breach security, access other users' data, reverse engineer the Service, use it for unlawful purposes, or resell it without permission.

7. Your data

Your financial records belong to you. We process them only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time. (Privacy Policy)

8. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
